Haley Tepavac spent seven years working on cruise ships around the world. Her Divergent Path started while working at a jewelry store in Minnesota. After a rough breakup she saw an advertisement for a job in Juneau, Alaska. So she packed her bags and moved to the far north.

Little did she know that decision would be the first domino in a chain of events that would send her careening around the world. She spent seven crazy years working on cruise ships and she eventually met her husband Mirko onboard. Now they’ve settled down in Las Vegas, where they were married by Elvis. I met Haley when we worked together for travel tourism company G Adventures in Vegas.

Haley talks about what led her down this Divergent Path. And she talks about the future of the cruise ship industry and its employees after coronavirus. And what its like to be a crew member on a cruise ship. Spoiler: it sounds fun!
